Welcome... 

I began The-Pastry as a way to blend all of my passions and experience into one place, spotlighting writing, design, style, food, and health. When I began providing my own images, I quickly added photo-snapping to that list.

Mostly, I have always been a big believer in the little things and keeping life simple. The heart of The-Pastry. 

As a designer, my hand-crocheted accessory line butter (featuring cruelty-free, non-animal fibers) was carried by boutiques nationwide, including Kitson and Habit in LA, Blue Bee in Santa Barbara, Krista K in Chicago...; with custom pieces acquired for film/tv, including for Reece Witherspoon (Legally Blonde 2), Alicia Silverstone (Miss Match/NBC), Eliza Dushku (Tru Calling/FOX); and swooped up by celebs such as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen…

My background also includes writer/freelance writer, screenwriter, producer, news field producer, freelance press/international press, casting associate/casting director, working mostly in the entertainment industry with companies including Columbia Pictures Television/Sony, NBC Productions, Nickelodeon, Turner Broadcasting System (TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network), MCA Universal, CBC, MTV Networks..... 

My hand is always in something creative, and I currently have a few fuels in the fire.

Life with my husband and two kiddos (I have two grown step-lovelies, too) is on the sunny California coast... NYC forever in my bones.
