Before the holiday weekend, a friend and I grabbed our kids and headed over to Adesso (the little boutique with big philosophies) to take part in Project Hope, which invited the community of Santa Barbara to stop in and help make beaded bracelets for all of the students and teachers of Sandy Hook Elementary.
It felt incredible to be able to put hands to material and in some tangible way let them know they're being thought about.
Adesso will send the bracelets (made in school colors) to Sandy Hook after the New Year, along with sweet cards from the many kids who came in.
