In The Kitchen -- Deliciously Cozy Oatmeal

A fresh take on a familiar, childhood (packaged) favorite -- Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal. 

It goes like this...


peeled + diced apples (approx. 1/4 cup per serving)
cinnamon (a few dashes)
chopped walnuts (a small handful per serving)

Follow the measurements and basic cooking instructions for your selected oats, using milk in place of water. (For creamier oatmeal, always add the oats to the liquid before beginning heating.) Stir in the cinnamon and apples at the start of cooking so they cook through with the oats. When ready, sprinkle with chopped walnuts and serve.

So satisfying, with exactly the right amount of sweetness -- no sugar or sweeteners involved or necessary.
